There is currently no service commissioned for the practice to refer to. Weight management services are commissioned by NHS Greater Manchester and are currently under review. They are considering new models of care and ways in which demand for services can be managed and outcomes improved. This will include the updated NICE guidelines around the use of new drugs like Wegovy and Mounjaro. A new service is expected to be in place later in 2025.
